Just a short time ago we had wonderful land and beautiful Turkey Creek but it wasn’t possible to travel around on the land due to very poor roads or complete lack of roads and overgrown pastures but look at our progress. Now we have a great road into the land and gravel is being poured this week. Drillers assure us that it will be possible to dig a lake and the camp core site is being cleared. Bulldozers manned by volunteers are making it happen.
On February 20, 2013, we purchased 326 acres nine miles NW of Crystal Springs. This perfect spot fronts Sumrall Road which is a well maintained country road in Copiah County. Our location keeps us easy to locate and near Jackson hospitals. The land is relatively flat, will hold water for a lake, and has the most wonderful creek flowing through the property. Turkey Creek promises to be the perfect spot for eating watermelons, throwing rocks, and walking on logs.
