So what does the IRT do when they’re not on site building Camp Kamassa???? Let’s see...
After ten years the vision for Mississippi's Toughest Kids Foundation is finally here. On May 11, 2018, our groundbreaking ceremony was held in celebration of Mrs. Mary Kitchens' dream to build a camp facility for children with special needs. Many people attended the ceremony. Guest speakers included Mayor Sally Garland, MTK Board Chairman, Dan Kitchens, and Major Elizabeth Emmons. Keynote speakers were Congressman Bennie Thompson and First Lady Deborah Bryant. Shelia Fowler blessed our hearts in song with "The National Anthem" and "To God Be The Glory".
Thank you to all who made this day possible through your continued prayers and support. Special thanks to U.S. AFRC IRT for their hardwork and commitment to this project for the next three years.
